Job summary

Comrise is seeking a hands-on Electronics Engineer to support the development, testing, and production transition of advanced vehicle electronics and prototype hardware in Foster City, CA. You will work with PCBs, wire harnesses, test equipment, and prototype assemblies, collaborating with electrical engineers to bring designs from bench to production while maintaining an organized electronics lab.

6-12 month contract with pay rate $71.10/hour, requiring hands-on experience and strong

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with electronics hardware.
• PCB assembly, soldering, and rework skills.
• Experience with prototype electronics and functional verification.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Familiarity with DMMs, power supplies, and test equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, bring up, and rework PCBs and electronic assemblies.
• Soldering and component-level rework under a microscope.
• Inspect automotive-grade wire harnesses and assemblies.
• Assemble and wire control panels, test benches, racks.
• Perform functional verification and troubleshooting.
• Maintain lab equipment and inventory.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on prototyping.
• Travel within the Bay Area as needed.
