Job summary

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service drive in a hands-on, customer-focused role. This position blends management responsibilities with active participation, including writing repair orders and guiding the team to deliver excellent service.

You will train Service Advisors, oversee daily operations, and coordinate with technicians to keep repairs moving smoothly while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience required.
• Experience training and coaching Service Advisors required.
• Strong sales, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of dealership service operations.
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working alongside the team.
• Previous Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write repair orders, assist customers, and recommend needed maintenance and repairs.
• Train, coach, and develop Service Advisors to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
• Manage daily service drive operations and workflow.
• Monitor advisor performance, productivity, and sales.
• Ensure consistent customer communication and follow-up.
• Work closely with technicians and parts to keep repairs moving efficiently.
• Resolve customer concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Lead by example and hold the team accountable.
