Job summary

Calculated Hire is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to support an Intelligent Automation initiative for a leading financial services client in Charlotte. The role is hands-on, requiring the ability to build practical automation solutions using Alteryx, SQL, Power Apps, and related tools, not limited to reporting or dashboards.

The ideal candidate will gather requirements from operations, translate business pain points into scalable automation solutions, and deliver measurable improvements

Qualifications

• 4+ years in automation delivery or business execution.
• Experience delivering automation/workflow solutions in a professional setting.
• Ability to own work from requirements gathering through design, build, test, validation and delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with business users and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be comfortable with a 6‑month W2 contract and hybrid onsite schedule.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities across complex operational environments.
• Design, build, and implement automation solutions using Alteryx and related low‑code tools to automate reconciliations, reporting, data transformation and controls.
• Gather requirements from business users, understand current processes, recommend automation approaches, and deliver measurable operational impact with reduced manual effort.
• Operate independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly with non‑technical stakeholders to deliver rapid solution delivery.
