Job summary

Great Dane is seeking an assembler to join our Huntsville production team. The role involves building component assemblies and installing semi-trailers on a production line, using a variety of hand-held pneumatic tools. No prior experience required, and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Must be able to use pneumatic power tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks day to day.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Operates handheld pneumatic and electric tools and equipment such as drills, drivers, riveters, impact wrenches, saws, and grinders.
• Works with materials like steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass, and fasteners.
• Materials are moved using overhead crane, forklift, carts, or by hand.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly and adheres to safety procedures.
• Performs other routine duties as directed by supervisor.
• Ensures quality and production standards are met.
