Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure accurately.
• Able to perform and remember how to perform multiple tasks from day to day.
• Able to stand and move about 8-12 hours a day.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to follow instructions, given either verbally or in writing.
• Safety-conscious and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Verify final product is to blueprint/specs; confirm dimensions and tolerances.
• Set controls to synchronize machine actions per sequence.
• Startup machines to produce samples; measure parts for conformance.
• Adjust dies/controls to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Move materials using overhead crane, forklift, or carts.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe safety procedures.
• Operate computer for data entry and verification.
• Perform other routine duties as needed.
