Job summary

Contour Airlines in Smyrna, TN is seeking an entry-level Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice to gain hands-on training across hangar operations, including aircraft maintenance, avionics, and components.

You will work under supervision, develop skills in inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel.
• Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
• Must understand, read, and write English.
• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist, under supervision, in maintaining or repairing aircraft, aircraft systems, engines and components.
• Under supervision, perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair and alterations of aircraft.
• Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operations and procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting defective aircraft systems and components.
• Performs special projects and/or other duties as assigned by leadership.
