Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States seeks a hands-on Solution Architect - AI to lead FDE initiatives across AI, data, cloud and integration. You will design scalable architectures, mentor engineers, and drive rapid prototyping and production-ready implementations, balancing performance, security and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS or related field.
• Proficient in Python, Java/JS, C++ or equivalent.
• Experience building backend services, APIs and distributed apps.
• Experience processing structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Familiar with Git, testing frameworks and code reviews.
• Familiar with AI/GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and embeddings.
• Production monitoring, logging and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer problems and constraints.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Own end-to-end technical implementation from discovery to production.
• Design and develop application services, APIs, integrations and AI-enabled solutions.
• Remain hands-on with coding, debugging and reviews.
• Lead rapid prototyping and PoC development to validate approaches.
• Define architecture, data flows, APIs and deployment approaches.
• Mentor engineers across software, AI, data, cloud and platform tech.
• Review code for quality, security and maintainability.
• Diagnose complex production issues and drive production-ready delivery.
• Communicate decisions, risks and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
