Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited seeks an experienced Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) Technical Lead to drive AI-enabled solutions. You will lead technical discovery, architect scalable backends, and own end-to-end deployment from prototype to production.

Expect hands-on coding and mentoring in Python, Java/JavaScript, and C++, with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. This role is onsite at multiple client sites and TCS offices in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java/JavaScript, C++.
• Experience building backend services, APIs and distributed apps.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data processing.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Git, testing frameworks and modern FOSS practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer problems and constraints.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture.
• Own end-to-end implementation from discovery to production deployment.
• Design and develop application services, APIs and AI-enabled solutions.
• Mentor engineers and review code for quality, security and scalability.
• Lead rapid prototyping and PoC development to validate approaches.
• Guide data, AI, cloud and platform teams across projects.
• Diagnose production issues and drive production-ready implementations.
