Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Lead Software Developer in the United States to own the design and development of internal applications and AI-powered tools. You will stay hands-on with code while guiding architecture, technical direction and mentoring a growing team.

You’ll design end-to-end solutions, lead decisions on architecture, and continue to ship Python-based systems with robust CI/CD and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on Python expertise.
• Experience with Django, FastAPI or Flask.
• Technical Lead or senior-level IC experience.
• Strong CI/CD experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience deploying AI/LLM integrations.
• Experience across Azure, AWS or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal applications from concept through to production.
• Lead technical architecture and development decisions.
• Remain heavily hands-on with Python.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Own containerisation across Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Build AI and LLM-powered applications including RAG and agentic workflows.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools.
• Mentor developers through code reviews and technical coaching.
• Improve testing, code quality, scalability and security.
• Work directly with senior stakeholders to turn business problems into technical solutions.
