Job summary

You'll work with industry experts across Land, Production, Accounting and Transportation, delivering impactful prototypes and scaling them into customer-ready features. This is a hands-on leadership role with autonomy and a direct line to the Chief Product Officer.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production software or ML systems.
• Track record of setting technical direction for AI/ML systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading teams.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Frame problems with industry experts to identify GenAI opportunities.
• Architect LLM applications with retrieval and agents.
• Evaluate foundation models and tuning needs.
• Build document AI for leases, contracts, tickets and energy documents.
• Ensure safety, data protection, and cost efficiency in GenAI systems.
• Ship GenAI features into production with observability and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data science for evaluations and hybrid models.
• Partner with solution engineers for customer pilots.
• Define GenAI architecture and reusable components.
• Mentor teammates and plan for future team growth.
