Job summary

Bane-Welker Equipment is seeking a Technician Apprentice to assist with repair and maintenance on agricultural equipment, under the guidance of the Service Manager. Responsibilities include set up, pre-delivery inspections, and timely completion of assigned jobs, while maintaining safety protocols and accurate paperwork.

The role emphasizes mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic skills with ongoing training and collaboration with mentoring technicians.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to pursue further training/education beyond high school.
• Must have customer-focused and “be of service” attitude.
• Demonstrate organizational ability and systematic timing.
• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in repair of agricultural equipment.
• Familiarity with the dealer’s line of equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair and maintenance work on equipment as assigned by the Service Manager.
• Participate in schooling, training, and stay up-to-date on product changes.
• Perform set up or pre-delivery inspections on equipment.
• Complete and process required paperwork for each assignment.
• Communicate with mentoring technicians and management to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and provide needed tools.
