Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing Tooling) to design and implement custom tooling for aerospace and defense programs. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2+ years of related experience or advanced degree with 0–2 years.
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
Experience with CAD software: PTC Creo preferred; other CAD tools acceptable.

Responsibilities

Design and develop parts, tooling, and fixtures to support aerospace/defense manufacturing.
Lead tooling design investigations and transitions to production.
Create 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and documentation using CAD systems.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and program teams to resolve issues.
Provide hands-on support from design through deployment on the shop floor.
