Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking a hands-on Aerospace Quality leader in Baltimore, MD. The role offers autonomy to manage a Quality department, direct the shop floor QA activities, and own critical processes from inspection to calibration.

The incumbent will drive audit readiness for AS9100 and NADCAP environments and engage in continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has strong leadership in aerospace machining, hands-on CMM experience, and a solid grasp of GD&T and tight-tolerance manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Proven quality leadership in aerospace precision machining.
• Strong AS9100 QMS ownership and audit experience.
• Hands-on CMM experience; programming is a plus.
• Excellent blueprint reading, GD&T, and tight-tolerance manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a close-knit Quality team and own the department.
• Oversee inspection, CMM and calibration across a busy precision machine shop.
• Solve technical Quality challenges across complex, tight-tolerance aerospace components.
• Lead audit readiness and drive improvements across the Quality function.
