Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting and finance management with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to explain complex financial information in plain English to leadership.
• Experience guiding budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Willingness to learn firm systems and establish reliable financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations with staff and service providers.
• Ensure accurate accounting, billing, A/R, A/P, payroll, and trust accounting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and key reports; budget and forecast.
• Oversee billing, collections, and accounts receivable aging; optimize processes.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance; coordinate with CPA and owner.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions and planning.
• Monitor cash balances, bank activity, and vendor payments; ensure timely processing.
• Explain financial risks and actions to leadership; implement corrective actions.
