Job summary

HTC Global Services, Inc. seeks an Automotive Design & Release Engineer to support the design, development, validation, release, and implementation of vehicle handles, locks, and mechanisms for vehicle closures, including hoods, frunks, side doors, tailgates, liftgates, and decklids.

The engineer will lead product development with focus on quality, cost, weight, performance, and timing, guiding suppliers and managing packaging, NVH, water management, craftsmanship, crash safety, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2+ years in automotive design, development, or launch of mechanisms.
Experience with automotive mechanisms (side-door latching, tailgate/liftgate, body closure systems).
CAD capability with CATIA, 3DX, Teamcenter; familiarity with CAE tools.
Experience releasing CAD and BOM structures; strong MS Office skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; able to work fully onsite five days/week.

Responsibilities

Lead HLM system design and development across engineering teams.
Manage suppliers to meet cost, weight, quality, performance, and timing targets.
Deliver projects on time using Global Product Development System methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust vehicle-level systems.
Create technical presentations for peer and management reviews.
Perform packaging studies, GD&T layouts, CAE analyses, and simulations.
