Job summary

DS Fashion NY is seeking a creative handbag designer to join our team in New York. You will contribute to new handbag collections focused on youth trends and novelty concepts for major U.S. retail customers.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of handbag design experience, strong CAD/tech pack skills, and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. You will work with overseas factories to develop products from concept to manufacture.

DS Fashion NY is looking for a creative handbag designer to join our team.

We are developing new handbag collections focused on youth trends and novelty concepts for major retail customers in the U.S. market.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a strong eye for trends and Junior culture
• Is experienced in creating Tech Packs and CADs
• Understands materials, trims, and handbag construction
• Can communicate with overseas factories for product development

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years minimum in handbag design experience, must have experience in creating tech packs of handbags.
• Focused on the technical aspects of bag design, such as functionality, construction, material specifications, and ensuring that the design can be effectively manufactured.
• Proficient in the Adobe Suite (Primarily Photoshop and Illustrator)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90K-$100K
