MercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of a new and rapidly growing orthopedic practice—with the ability to design, develop, and elevate a comprehensive Hand & Upper Extremity program from day one.

We are looking for a fellowship-trained surgeon passionate about the full spectrum of hand and upper extremity care, including complex fractures, nerve and tendon injuries,

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Fellowship trained in Hand & Upper Extremity.
• ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses.
• Strong clinical and surgical skill set with a passion for hand and upper extremity care.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Open to graduating fellows and experienced surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine a best-in-class hand surgery program.
• Provide comprehensive hand and upper-extremity care across the spectrum.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, primary care, anesthesia, hospitalists, and therapy teams.
