Job summary

Emory Healthcare's orthopedic team in Georgia is seeking a Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon to join the MGO and ESA teams. With strong patient demand, this position offers the opportunity to build a busy, high-volume hand practice within a collaborative, community-based setting.

The surgeon will perform a broad range of procedures—tendon and nerve repairs, fracture fixation, carpal and cubital tunnel releases, trigger finger releases, and related shoulder/elbow cases—while expanding

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical degree required.
• Valid and unrestricted Georgia medical license.
• Board eligible or board certified.
• Valid DEA certificate.
• Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hand and upper extremity surgical care.
• Perform 500–600 hand procedures annually.
• Perform tendon/nerve repair, fracture fixation, and releases.
• Collaborate within Emory's orthopedic team to expand access regionally.
