Sanford Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Hand and Upper Extremity Rehab Program. You will evaluate and treat hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions while collaborating with hand surgeons and a multidisciplinary team.

A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is strongly preferred; candidates actively pursuing CHT are encouraged to apply. Two or more years in hand therapy or related outpatient orthopedics is expected, with experience in orthosis fabrication and

Qualificações

• CHT credential preferred; candidates actively pursuing CHT encouraged.
• 2+ years of hand therapy, upper extremity rehab, or outpatient orthopedics experience required.
• Experience with custom orthosis fabrication and post-operative rehabilitation protocols.
• Strong understanding of upper extremity biomechanics and evidence-based rehab practices.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions.
• Provide specialized upper-extremity care including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and scar/edema management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, and rehab professionals to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and educate patients and families on recovery and home programs.
• Supervise therapy assistants, aides, and students as appropriate.
