Job summary

H2 Health's Physio Physical Therapy and Wellness clinic in Asheville seeks an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist specializing in hand therapy. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, design individualized plans, and deliver advanced hand and upper extremity therapy to help patients regain function.

The role emphasizes collaboration with surgeons and a patient-centered approach, with mentorship available for developing expertise in hand therapy.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited OT or PT program.
• OT or PT license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience in upper extremity/hand therapy is a plus; mentorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for hand, wrist, elbow, and related upper extremity conditions.
• Deliver skilled interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, edema control, wound management, and custom splint fabrication.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the clinical team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Use EMR and outcome tools to track progress and communicate goals to patients and caregivers.
