Job summary

Corewell Health in Hastings, MI seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy to patients per medical direction, with patient and caregiver education and coordination of adaptive equipment. Day shift, full-time, 40 hours per week.

Requires Bachelor’s in OT, MI OT license upon hire, and BLS; Master’s degree preferred and OTR/CHT credentials are a plus. On-site role with standard hospital benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Master's degree preferred.
• MI license for OT upon hire.
• OTR certification (NB-COT) upon hire preferred.
• Driver's license for MI.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) within 90 days of hire.
• Hand Therapist Certification (CHT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients based on need and medical direction.
• Educate patients and caregivers and arrange adaptive equipment as needed.
• Utilize hand therapy skills when applicable.
