Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) and BLS certification required.
• 0–1 years related work experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience with computer systems including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preferred: Hand Therapy Certification and 1 year Hand Therapy specialization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, sets goals and implements treatment plans.
• Assesses and manages pain per guidelines.
• Treats patients ages from infant to elder.
• Educates patients and families on Occupational Therapy.
• Plans for discharge with the care team and documents progress.
• Ensures referrals, certifications and recertifications are up to date.
• Collaborates with program coordinator to secure approvals.
