Qualifications

• Active state OT license
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred; pursuing encouraged
• 3–5+ years of hand therapy experience
• Expertise in upper-extremity evaluation and splint fabrication
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations focused on upper-extremity function
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
• Treat post-surgical and complex upper-extremity conditions
• Deliver manual therapy and evidence-based upper-extremity interventions
• Design and fabricate custom orthoses and splints
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and activity modification
• Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
• Support Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides as applicable
• Contribute to mentorship and best practices within the team
