Job summary

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in CA or eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• NBCOT certification in good standing
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic/hand therapy is a plus
• Strong documentation and communication skills, patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Implement OT treatment plans under OT supervision
• Provide direct patient care to improve daily living, fine motor, and upper extremity function
• Document patient progress and treatment notes accurately
• Collaborate with OT and interdisciplinary team on care plans
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies
• Maintain a safe, organized clinic environment
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education
