Job summary

Hands Plus Physical Therapy in Santa Clarita, CA, is seeking an enthusiastic PT/OT Aide to support our busy clinic. You will assist licensed therapists, prep treatment areas, and guide patients through prescribed exercises in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

This entry-level role offers hands-on clinical exposure, collaboration with a supportive team, and opportunities to learn EMR and scheduling systems while maintaining a clean, organized clinic and helping patients progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related coursework preferred.
• Experience in PT/OT or medical clinic setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to stand, move, and assist patients during shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a high-volume clinic.
• Basic computer skills; willingness to learn EMR/scheduling software.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists in delivering patient care and treatment programs.
• Prepare and set up treatment areas, equipment, and modalities prior to patient sessions.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities under direct therapist supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, treatment rooms, and therapy equipment.
• Support front office and administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and patient check-in as needed.
• Monitor and communicate patient responses and progress to supervising therapists.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of clinical supplies.
