Job summary

Select Medical's NovaCare Rehabilitation in Westminster, Maryland seeks a full-time or part-time Hand Therapist/OT to lead upper-extremity care in outpatient orthopedics. A CHt is preferred but not required; prior outpatient OT experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• State OT license (or license eligible).
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience required.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Treat a diverse caseload of upper-extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains/strains, post-operative fractures, and other orthopedic/neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with referral sources, centers, and patients to establish goals and therapy plans.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs and documentation.
• Adhere to state practice acts and governing supervision requirements.
• Lead and participate in program development and mentorship initiatives.
• Maintain high standard of care with evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
