Job summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist specializing in hand therapy for our outpatient orthopedic center in Houston, TX. The position emphasizes mentorship toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and collaboration with a network of hand therapists for support.

Ideal candidate has a level II fieldwork in hands or CHT is preferred; we mentor therapists aspiring to attain CHT credentials while supervising aides and contributing to case management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)-accredited school of occupational therapy.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized hand therapy, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
• Stay current with occupational therapy research and evidence-based practice.
