Job description

Highlights/Benefits:
  • Hand Clinic for a Non-Profit Hospital
  • Majority Hands and Orthopedic Caseload
  • Train under 2 CHT's with 2 Hand Surgeons in-building and others in the area providing consistent caseload
  • 4-10's schedule
  • Average 10 Patients / Day
  • 1 hour Evals, 45-min tx, all 1:1 Patient Care
  • $15,000 Sign-On / Relocation Bonus

About the Position:

This Occupational Therapist will have a passion for Hands and Upper Extremities and will have a strong desire to get their CHT in the near future. Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader with a passion for patient-centered care. We are not looking for an individual who is just looking for their next "job" but someone who wants to invest in a career to help patients understand what has happened to their bodies through their injury/condition. Education of the patient is the number one priority in helping them realize how their body will react to treatment and therapy.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Masters or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Looking for qualified and experienced Hand Therapists
  • CHT Preferred, or on track to pursue
  • Training in Splinting (Custom Splinting) is Preferred
  • Must obtain Modalities Certificate and Hand Therapy Certificate upon hire
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
