Wichita State University’s NIAR HAMR hub is seeking a student assistant to support facility operations on the main campus in Wichita, KS. This on-site, part-time role focuses on delivering reliable day-to-day support to building occupants and staff, with duties spanning coordination, inventory, events, and visitor services.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and customer service, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with event setup or facilities support preferred.
• Comfort with basic inventory tracking and Excel/SharePoint.

Aufgaben

• Support daily facility operations, including opening/closing procedures and readiness of common areas.
• Check, stock, and track amenities; monitor inventory and coordinate reorders.
• Assist with scheduling and preparing for events and tours, including room reservations and AV checks.
• Assist visitors and tour groups, manage check-ins and provide wayfinding.
• Track packages/mail and notify occupants; maintain logs and internal deliveries.
• Maintain calendars and documentation, including event schedules and SOPs.
• Support special events with onsite logistics and customer service.
