Thebigword Inc. is hiring Haitian Creole bilingual speakers to support NYC elections, enabling fluent communication at polling sites across NYC boroughs and helping voters, staff, and officials during the election period.

You will interpret between voters and poll workers, translate ballots, answer questions, and assist with site setup, breakdown, and administrative tasks while maintaining a nonpartisan, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Available for Election Day (5:00am–10:00pm) and Early Voting days.
• Willing to undergo training.

Responsibilities

• Support non-English speakers at polling sites across NYC Boroughs.
• Interpret between voters and poll workers, translate ballots, and answer questions.
• Assist with site setup, breakdown, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure a nonpartisan, welcoming environment.
