Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Hairstylist.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Customer services skills required.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of chemical processes and transformations; includes uses of chemicals, interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide beauty services such as shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling hair, and scalp massage.
• Analyze patrons’ hair and features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or hairstyles.
• Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics.
• Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors.
• Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs.
• Develop new styles and techniques.
• Update and maintain customer information records, such as services provided.
