Job summary

Fox Subacute- South Philadelphia is seeking a compassionate, reliable Hairstylist/Barber to provide professional hair care services to residents in our long-term care facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to help residents look and feel their best while building meaningful relationships in a caring environment.

The role requires a PA cosmetology license, liability insurance, and a willingness to work with older adults in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Valid PA cosmetology license.
• Must carry your own liability insurance.
• Long term care experience is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful with older adults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage appointments.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts, hairstyling, beard trimming, and basic grooming services for residents.
