Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking a licensed cosmetologist to join our Salon Services team on a true per diem (as-needed) basis. This role offers flexible daytime hours between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and focuses on delivering hair and nail services that help residents look and feel their best.

You will work with an experienced team in a friendly salon environment, maintaining cleanliness and exceptional service while scheduling appointments and assisting residents in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Cosmetology Operator's License.
• Experience providing hair care services.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort using scheduling and POS systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage appointments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair and nail care services in accordance with licensure.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, sanitation, and sterilization standards per Pennsylvania regulations.
• Schedule appointments and process payments through the POS system.
• Maintain a neat, organized, welcoming salon environment.
• Communicate product and supply needs to salon leadership.
• Report resident health or safety concerns to the team.
• Return personal belongings following services.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a positive salon experience.

What You'll Do
