Qualified candidates will have 2–3 years behind-the-chair, a NJ cosmetology/barber license, and proficiency in modern styling and traditional barbering techniques.

Job Description

We are seeking 2 talented, experienced Hairstylists & Barbers with an established local clientele to join our growing team. If you are passionate about precision cutting, creative coloring, and providing a premium client experience, we provide a collaborative workspace designed to support and elevate your business.

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Commission-Based) — 2 Openings Available

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting & Barbering: Perform precision men's and women's haircuts, fading, beard grooming, and texture-specific styling across straight, wavy, and curly hair types.
• Color Services: Provide customized color services including single-process, highlights, balayage, color corrections, and gloss/toning treatments.
• Specialized Treatments & Styling: Execute professional blowout styles, event hair, and chemical smoothing/restructuring treatments (e.g., Keratin treatments).
• Client Retention & Growth: Maintain high standards of customer service to retain your existing clientele while actively onboarding new salon clients.
• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized station adhering to New Jersey State Board regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of active behind-the-chair experience in a professional salon/barbershop setting.
• Established Clientele: Demonstrated local client following preferred.
• Licensing: Active New Jersey Cosmetology or Barbering License (required).
