Job summary

Hair Specs Salon LLC is seeking 2 experienced Hairstylists & Barbers to join a growing team with an established clientele. Positions are full-time or part-time with commission-based pay, offering a collaborative workspace designed to elevate your business.

Qualified candidates will have 2–3 years behind-the-chair, a NJ cosmetology/barber license, and proficiency in modern styling and traditional barbering techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of active behind-the-chair experience in a professional salon/barbershop setting.
• Established local clientele preferred.
• Active New Jersey Cosmetology or Barbering License required.
• Strong proficiency in modern styling/coloring techniques and traditional barbering/menswear cutting.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision men’s and women’s haircuts, fades, beard grooming, and texture-specific styling across hair types.
• Provide color services including single-process, highlights, balayage, color corrections, and gloss/toning treatments.
• Execute blowouts, event hair, and chemical smoothing/restructuring treatments (e.g., Keratin).
• Maintain high standards of customer service to retain and onboard clients.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations as per New Jersey State Board.
