Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled hair professional to provide top-tier styling and spa services in a luxury resort setting. You will perform cutting, blow-dry styling, hot tool work, and special occasion styling for guests, ensuring a polished salon experience within a welcoming environment.

We value friendly, motivated team members who are passionate about serving others and who can work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet guest needs at a premium resort.

Qualifications

• Must possess current State Cosmetology License and/or Barber License.
• 1-year minimum experience in hair services.
• Knowledge and adherence to all industry sanitation laws.
• Proficient skills in cutting, blow dry styling, hot tool experience, and special occasion hair styling.
• Ability to stand for several hours and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest possible standard of services while maintaining a relaxing environment.
• To begin and end treatments at the scheduled time.
• Maintain hair salon presentation and cleanliness standard.
• Ensure backbar inventory levels are communicated
• Ensure proper re-stock of salon at the close of each day
• Relay with confidence product and service benefits to clients.
• Required attendance of all department training courses and meetings
• Perform any other duties required by management.

To provide quality, professional services to guests and use professional skills to meet individual needs of each guest serviced. Prescribe the appropriate regime of hair products and services for each guest. Educate guests regarding home maintenance and the benefits of additional services.
