Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa seeks a spa team member to perform professional facial and cosmetic treatments from the current menu for guests’ hygiene and therapeutic benefits.

Responsibilities include staying current on treatments, delivering services per standards, and communicating resort events and hours to guests and staff. Commitment to safety and emergency procedures is essential, with opportunities for growth in a premier beach resort.

Qualifications

• Current State Cosmetology License.
• 1 year minimum experience in hair services.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up to date knowledge of all treatments and services offered on the current salon treatment menu, as well as trends and developments within the professional spa community related to products, treatment and techniques.
• Provides treatments in accordance with established standards and protocols within the assigned structure.
• Demonstrates commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others.
• Knows the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Knows and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners
• Conducts tours of the salon and related facilities.
• Participates in periodic product inventory as scheduled.

• Able to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• May be required to work evenings and overtime occasionally
