Earnings from $18.00 to $35.00 an hour based on base pay, tips, production bonus and sales commissions. Signing bonus of $1,500 payable beginning immediately at the rate of $50 per pay period. With tips, commissions, production and performance bonuses, and 401K match, stylists will typically make $20 an hour or more. Experienced stylists who are efficient and service oriented, and have built a following, average substantially more.
