Minimal Qualifications

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends
• Exceptional guest service skills, including consultations and efficient service delivery
• Ability to perform administrative tasks like transactions, close-out procedures, and light housekeeping

Physical Requirements

• Standing for extended periods
• Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Repetitive movements with hands, fingers, wrists, and arms
• Reaching above shoulder level and exposure to chemicals/fragrances
• Close vision and color vision for hair observation
• Effective communication with guests about services and needs

Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on base pay, tips, bonuses, and commissions. A signing bonus of $1,500 is payable starting immediately at $50 per pay period. With additional tips, bonuses, and 401K matching, stylists typically earn $20+ per hour, with experienced stylists earning more.
