Job summary

Nouveau Day Spa, a proud partner of Advanced MedAesthetic Partners, seeks an experienced hairstylist to join a top-tier spa network in Washington. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules with a 40% commission on services and a Washington minimum-wage guarantee for all hours worked.

You should have a valid WA Cosmetology License, 1+ year of licensed hairstylist experience, and strong cutting/coloring skills. Weekend availability (1 Saturday/month) is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Cosmetology License in good standing.
• 1+ years of experience as a licensed hairstylist.
• Strong skills in cutting, coloring, and styling for diverse hair types.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work 1 Saturday per month.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand desired look, hair type, and lifestyle needs.
• Perform haircuts, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments with precision and care.
• Recommend and sell retail hair care products based on client needs.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent service and rebooking.
• Maintain sanitation and sterilization standards for tools and stations per WA rules.
• Stay current on trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education.
• Document services rendered and product usage in the POS/scheduling system.
• Collaborate with the spa team to deliver a seamless, welcoming client experience.
