You'll consult with clients, recommend services that suit their needs, and deliver polished results across hair and beauty services. Duties

• Provide hair styling, hair coloring, hair care, and hair extensions; apply color theory to guide service choices.
• Offer barbering services, including straight razor techniques, and hair threading, makeup application, and nail care as qualified.
• Communicate clearly with clients about preferences, service options, and at-home care.
• Maintain clean tools and work areas by following sanitation practices.
• Use salon software, including MINDBODY where applicable, to manage appointments and support store management; recommend relevant services through attentive, respectful upselling.

Experience

• Experience working in the beauty industry and a background in cosmetology are valued.
• Strong customer service, communication skills, and client communication are essential.
• Knowledge of hair styling, hair care, hair coloring, color theory, and sanitation is important.
• Experience with salon software, MINDBODY, hair extensions, barbering, straight razor work, hair threading, makeup application, or nail care is preferred.
• Mentoring or store management experience is a plus.
