Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a qualified Stylist to join our Irvine LifeSpa & Salon.

The stylist will perform haircuts, coloring, highlighting and related treatments, delivering services and products that enhance guest experiences and drive sales within the club environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of cosmetology school, 1–3 years of styling experience, and an active cosmetology license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completed Cosmetology school.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist.
• Cosmetology license in state where work is performed.
• Ability to perform various types of hair services and treatments.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Position Summary

The Stylist provides various hair services and treatments that improve the guest’s overall sense of well-being and enhances the club experience. Some services include haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling that result in sales, services and products that exceed the guest’s expectations.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completed Cosmetology school
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist
• Cosmetology license in state where work is performed

Preferred Requirements

• Experience as a stylist in a professional setting
• Knowledge in Salon Biz software

Pay

This position receives a base hourly rate equivalent to minimum wage. In addition to incentive pay between 5% to 55% depending on team member productivity.
