Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. You will deliver quality professional services with a focus on the guest’s total look, supporting the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager in performance, people, and process areas.

The role requires passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge and communicate it effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in latest salon techniques for hair services and makeup.
• Ability to perform diverse service categories with skill.
• Strong communication and guest service aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals for hair services and contribute to retail and service sales targets.
• Demonstrate business acumen and drive opportunities for growth; conduct product demonstrations to boost sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on current industry trends, products and services, and communicate benefits to guests.
• Maintain punctual attendance and high salon standards.
