Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Boulder, CO is seeking a professional Stylist to consult with guests on hair care needs and deliver high-quality services while driving retail and service sales. You will support the Experience Manager and adhere to procedures to ensure a superior guest experience and store performance.

The role requires a Cosmetology license, strong customer service, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced salon environment with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required or in good standing.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for haircutting, coloring, styling, treatments, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Ability to demonstrate, recommend and sell professional hair care and makeup products.
• Developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, keratin, extensions, makeup, and piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales and productivity goals through exceptional guest service and retail/service sales.
• Demonstrate business acumen and identify growth opportunities.
• Provide product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives for an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
