The Hair Care Specialist is committed to providing a quality experience for our elder population through personalized hair care services. This position enhances residents' dignity, confidence, and overall well-being by delivering compassionate, individualized care in a warm and welcoming environment. The Hair Care Specialist builds meaningful relationships with residents while promoting comfort, self-esteem, and quality of life.
In accordance with Wyoming law, a current cosmetology license is preferred but not required for employees providing hair care services within a nursing home.
Specific demands not listed: Possible exposure to blood and / or body fluids / infectious disease / hazardous waste requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Exposure to odorous chemicals / specimens and Latex products. Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required.
