Job Description

Position: Hadoop Developer
Duration: 4+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC / Detroit, MI

As a Hadoop Developer, you will be responsible for developing and managing big data solutions to support our client's digital initiatives. Your role will involve working with large-scale data processing and analytics platforms to enable advanced data insights and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and administer Cloudera clusters (Cloud or on-premise).
• Conduct performance testing across all environments.
• Develop functionality within Hadoop clusters.
• Manage data files in Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• Configure HIVE and Oozie to store metadata in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop HIVE scripts to analyze and extract data insights.
• Utilize SQOOP to export data insights from HDFS.

Qualifications:

• Experience with installing, configuring, and administering Cloudera clusters.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components such as HIVE, Oozie, and SQOOP.
• Ability to develop and optimize big data processing workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and performance tuning skills.
