Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking Senior and SME-level Ground Systems and Space Systems Engineers to join the HADES program in Albuquerque, NM. This mission-critical effort covers satellite ground system engineering, development, integration, and sustainment for the Space Systems Command.

The team works on high-stakes projects requiring TS with SCI eligibility, with onsite work in New Mexico and opportunities to influence space-domain operations within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in space and/or satellite ground systems.
• Space command and control experience required.
• TS with SCI eligibility or ability to obtain

Job Description:

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking Senior and SME-level Ground Systems and Space Systems Engineers to join the HADES program in Albuquerque, NM. HADES is a mission-critical satellite ground system engineering, development, integration, and sustainment program supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC). HADES is due for award in January 2027 but we are interviewing and making contingent offers now.

Qualifications:

BA/BS (preferred); additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree 8+ years of experience in space and/or satellite ground systems Space command and control experience required TS with SCI eligibility

The likely salary range for this position is $169,604 - $229,464. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
