Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 2-3 years in a similar quality leadership role.
• Experience overseeing quality in HACCP-regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of HACCP processes.
• Experience auditing, non-conformances, root cause analysis and countermeasures.
• Supervision of others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve the site's established quality management system.
• Oversee regulatory and legal compliance and guide direct reports to ensure it.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Handle customer quality concerns and communicate status.
• Oversee daily operation of the quality lab and achieve testing goals.
• Prepare for and execute internal and external quality audits.
• Drive quality continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with plant and corporate teams on quality projects.
• Maintain site HACCP plan and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Lead cross-functional teams on plant quality initiatives.
