Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Georgia seeks a Habilitation Counselor to support individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. You will help clients develop daily living, social and communication skills and contribute to goal planning in a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field.
• Experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders preferred.
• Active RBT and/or CNA license preferred; willingness to obtain within six months required.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong technical skills and comfortable using in-house software for reporting.

• Assist with implementing individualized goals and support plans.
• Provide guidance and encouragement during daily activities.
