Job summary

Block 22 LLC in Boise is seeking a friendly Room Attendant to maintain spotless guest rooms and uphold the Hotel 43 brand standards. You will create welcoming spaces with care and consistency, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include bed-making, stocking amenities, cleaning bathrooms, and reporting maintenance needs. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; strong communication and guest-focused service are essential. Flexible hours including weekends are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow bed-making standards, including stripping or turning down beds for check-outs and stays.
• Empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean refrigerators, and restock room amenities.
• Reset room furniture and ensure proper placement of hangers, curtains, pillows, and related items.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms according to hotel standards with approved chemicals.
• Report maintenance concerns or damages to the supervisor promptly.
• Turn in lost and found items with room number and date documentation; valuables to supervisor.
• Work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness standards and brand image.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experts in the art of hospitality, Hotel 43 and the Block22 Companies create memorable experiences. We are a destination for experiences beyond the ordinary, in the heart of downtown Boise. As a Room Attendant at Hotel 43, you’ll be the reason every guest feels at home by creating spotless, welcoming spaces with care and consistency.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follow proper bed-making standards, including stripping or turning down beds as appropriate for check-outs and stay-overs.
• Empty trash, wipe all surfaces, clean refrigerators, and restock room amenities to ensure guest comfort.
• Reset room furniture and ensure correct placement of items such as hangers, curtains, pillows, nightstand supplies, TV accessories, and thermostats.
• Clean and sanitize guest room bathrooms according to hotel cleanliness standards, using approved chemicals and protective equipment.
• Report any maintenance concerns or damages to the supervisor promptly.
• Turn in all lost and found items with proper documentation (room number and date); valuable items must be given directly to a supervisor for safekeeping.
• Work efficiently and independently while maintaining the hotel’s cleanliness standards and brand image.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

• Responsible, dependable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends as needed.

$16/hour

Friday-Tuesday 8am-430pm (9am-530pm on Weekends)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during shifts.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up 40 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums.
